This Weeks HubMob New Year Around The World

This week’s Hubmob topic is on New Year around the world.

With the New Year fast approaching, plans will be afoot across the globe to see out the year and ring in 2010 in style.

We Scots have a rich history with Hogmanay and are known to celebrate New Year’s Eve with great zest and passion and are well known for our wonderful street parties. I do not believe any other country feels such a strong connection with Hogmanay as Scotland.

This is in part to Christmas being banned in Scotland for almost 400 years. For a long time Hogmanay was the only celebrated holiday in Scotland and we definitely made the most of it.

I’ve taken the opportunity to write a hub about Hogmanay, and have already had some great comments from fellow Hubbers.

I’ll be watching the Hubmob closely this week to see how people around the world celebrate the new year.

Finally A New Hub

After a little break I'm back on the Hubbing trail with my latest article on the push up.

Push ups are a simple yet extremely effective upper body exercise that can be done anywhere with no specialist equipment.

I'm on a mission to lose weight and become healthier and have become a student of fitness and nutrition. I find the article writing reinforces my own learning and hopefully provides more clarity on the subject.

I've barely scratched the surface with the hub and will produce more supplementary hub in the future to further develop the subject.

Keep an eye out for them.

This week’s Hubmob topic is Domestic Violence, a subject I am lucky to say I have very little personal experience of.

I don’t think I’ll be making a contribution this week and will be focussing on my own hub topics.

Having contributed to the toys Hubmob a couple of weeks ago i can say i have noticed a marked increase in my page views from hubpages, with an increase in my number of fans also.

Hooray for Hubmobs!
